Professor Nicolas von Solms seen here at the DTU pilot scale absorption column. The column enables the study of advanced CO2 capture technologies at larger than lab scale at realistic process conditions. Most recently the column was used to study enzyme-enhanced capture with novel solvents. We found that this technology can be competitive with the current benchmark solvents.
